It's time to call in "sick" to work. The recent winter storms have dropped almost five feet of snow on Mammoth Mountain. The slopes have recovered and everything is open. There is a new Super Pipe in the works and all the terrain parks are groomed. The back side bowl, Hemlock via Chair 14 is awesome and so are the face runs off Lincoln Mountain. The groomers have been working overtime to keep up with the snow dumps. The most beautiful was to watch the skiers glide down off Dave's Run into fresh untracked powder. This is a great time to come up before Presidents Weekend and sneak in a long weekend. And try the new race course on Ralphys just under Chair 1. What a hoot!
