Yes it keeps snowing in Mammoth, but after the 33" that fell this past weekend, the skies are blue again. Seems just when Mammoth could use a little dusting, it gets a dump. This time there was so much snow that the Airport closed. It was falling as much as 4-6" per hour but amazingly, the visibility was still really good. Monday was the heaviest snow fall day, and it continued to snow on the drive out of town as far as Lone Pine, and then sprinkles all the way to Mojave. Yes... snow in Mojave. Poor Ground hogs! Winter is here and Mammoth has more snow than any other resort in the United States. Thank goodness - There's Snowplace Like Mammoth
