The Mammoth Lakes Ice Rink was a beautiful outdoor facility in an Alpine setting. The rink is back each winter in its new location by the Mammoth Lakes Library. Each year new features are coming. Soon it will have a roof! The rink is open most winter days, wind and weather permitting.

If you're looking for an ice skating rink, there is some skating available at the Double Eagle Resort. It is a small family rink, perfect for a few hours with the kids. Call the Double Eagle at 877-648-7004 to inquire about their hours of operation and session information.

You can also skate on the many frozen lakes in and around Mammoth and June. During the coldest months, some of the lakes freeze hard enough for winter fun. However, we caution you to check with the Forest Service to find out if any of the lakes are suitable. They have final say on which are safe enough for activities if at all.
